Italian — Level One

Not words to memorise. A language to understand — every lesson explained in Arabic.

10 lessons · 122 slides · over 4 hours of narration

We all learned a language by memorising it, and we all forgot it. The problem was never your memory — it was memorising a word without understanding it. This level starts at the alphabet and pronunciation, moves through family and home, food and transport, and ends at the doctor and the pharmacy. Every lesson is explained in Egyptian Arabic — an explanation, not a translation printed beside the word. Each lesson closes with a Distinctions section: two words that mean almost the same thing in Arabic, and when each one is right. Ciao against Buongiorno; "I know how to swim" against "I am allowed to swim" — two different verbs in Italian, one in Arabic.
