"Etkalem Zayohom" is an online language-learning platform operated by Innohand Solutions, a limited liability company established under the Investment Law, registered in the Cairo Investment Commercial Register under no. 289532, Cairo, Egypt (referred to in these Terms as "Etkalem Zayohom", "we", "us" or "our"). These Terms are a binding agreement between you and us regarding your use of www.etkalemzayohom.com and everything it offers (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
By using the Service you confirm that you are 18 or older. The Service is intended for adults; anyone under 18 may not use it or create an account, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18 we close it and delete their data. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account, write to support@etkalemzayohom.com and we will delete it.
When you create an account you must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Your account is personal: you create and use one account only, and you do not share it or its credentials with anyone else, transfer it or sell it. You are responsible for all use made through your account, including any unauthorised use, and you must tell us immediately at support@etkalemzayohom.com if you suspect someone has accessed it.
Devices: your account may be registered on a limited number of devices, shown on your account page (currently two). When you sign in from a new device beyond that number, the least recently used device is signed out automatically. To prevent account sharing we record information about the devices that access your account, as described in the Privacy Policy, and we may determine whether a particular device is permitted to use the account consistently with these Terms. If an account shows signs of being shared, we may suspend or terminate it.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service and view its content within the platform for your personal, non-commercial purposes only, for the duration of your subscription. Using the Service gives you no ownership of, or intellectual-property right in, the Service or its content. Everything on the platform — videos, slides, audio, texts, exercises, images and marks, including AI-generated content — is owned by or licensed to Etkalem Zayohom and protected by intellectual-property law in Egypt and elsewhere.
You may not, and may not help anyone else to:
Watermark: lesson videos are displayed with a watermark carrying your name and email address. Any copy of the content that appears outside the platform is attributed to the account whose details it carries.
A breach of this section is a material breach: we may terminate your account immediately without refund and reserve our right to compensation and legal action.
What you write or record inside the Service (answers, voice recordings for exercises, notes, reports) remains yours. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store and process it as needed to run and improve the Service. You undertake not to submit content that is abusive, unlawful or infringes others' rights.
Access to the lessons requires buying a prepaid subscription period (30, 90 or 365 days) at the prices shown on the pricing page, in Egyptian pounds and inclusive of applicable taxes. Payment is made once per period through the Paymob payment gateway; there is no automatic renewal and no recurring charge, and access ends when the period ends unless you buy a new one. Access begins as soon as the payment is confirmed. If you buy a new period before the current one ends, the new days are added after the remaining ones. We may change prices at any time; a change does not affect a period you have already paid for. Discount codes and offers are subject to their stated conditions and cannot be converted into cash. We do not store your card details; they are processed by Paymob. Cancellation and refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
You may request a full refund within 7 days of payment under the conditions set out in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. For consumers resident in the European Union: by paying you agree that the digital content is made available immediately and acknowledge that you thereby waive your statutory right of withdrawal — while keeping your right to a refund under our policy.
Part of the content and exercises is generated by AI models and may contain linguistic or cultural errors or inaccurate information; check what you learn against a reliable source before relying on it in an official setting. The Service is a learning tool: we do not issue accredited certificates and do not guarantee passing any language test, obtaining a visa, residence, job or university admission, and we do not provide immigration or legal advice.
We work to keep the Service available at all times, but it may pause for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We may modify the Service, add or remove languages, lessons or features. If a material change affects a subscription period you have paid for, we compensate you appropriately (an extension or a proportional refund).
By you: you may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account from the account settings or by contacting support; deleting the account erases your progress permanently and gives no refund except under the Refund Policy.
By us: we may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without refund if you materially breach these Terms (especially sections 3 and 5), or in case of fraud or account sharing. For any other reason, we give you at least 14 days' notice and compensate you for any remaining paid period.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without any express or implied warranty, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, and without a guarantee that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted. This section does not affect any rights guaranteed to you by consumer-protection law in your country of residence that cannot be waived.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or loss of profits or data, arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. In all cases our total liability to you does not exceed what you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. This section does not exclude or limit our liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of your country. Before any legal action, please contact us at support@etkalemzayohom.com; we aim to resolve any disagreement amicably within 30 days. For EU residents, the European Commission's online dispute-resolution platform is available.
We may amend these Terms. For a material change we notify you by email or within the platform at least 14 days before it takes effect, and ask you to agree to the new version when you sign in. Non-material changes (wording corrections, updated contact details) take effect on publication. The effective date and version number are shown at the top of this page.
These Terms together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the entire agreement between us. If any clause is held invalid, the rest remain in force. Our not enforcing a clause is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. The Arabic version is the reference text; the English and French translations are for convenience, and in case of conflict the Arabic prevails. Contact: support@etkalemzayohom.com.
